Sonora is the collaboration of Belle and Silvio – two people who naturally combine design and craftsmanship and unite them in a common language.
Silvio is a metalworker and designer. His work combines precision and structure with a calm and collected demeanor. With his technical intuition, he creates the foundation for the durability and functionality of each individual element.
Belle is a designer and, with her eye for shapes, light and materials, gives her designs a subtle sensuality that touches the heart.
Together they create an aesthetic that is essentially subdued – reduced, elegant, timeless.
They find their inspiration in nature, on their travels or in everyday life – in landscapes, light and materials, or needs that carry stories.
Sonora is more than just a name...
We perceive a sonorous voice as warm, full and pleasant – it seems familiar, creates closeness and fills the room with calm.
The design of spaces has always been compared to music: to harmony, to rhythm, to the subtle interplay of proportions. But while we can describe sounds as sonorous , we lack a word for that silent, spatial experience.
Sonora describes exactly that – the idea of an interior that makes a sound without making a noise.
A space that feels like a melodious voice: balanced, clear, and sensual.
